Bayview Golf Club 2009 Awards Party Saturday, December 5th!
The big bash is on. For any new members the awards party is a lot of food and fun. Over fifty door prizes will be awarded. All of the golfcourse swag purchased over the year is raffeled off; Bayview bucks in hidden places and a grand prize. Members receive one entry for the party and another for each tournament played in during the year. The top prizes are picked (but not announced) then the fun begins with tickets pulled and winners taking their chioces off the tables. Once again Kevin Holloway has graciously volunteered to host this years party at his Sunnyvale home.
The fun starts at 6:00 PM with an open bar of wine, beer and soft drinks. The menu will be the similar to last year but with lots more of all those great snacks from Hofbrau Catering. Cost is once again only $10 per member and $15 per guest.
2010 Renewal
The NCGA has had a 20% increase fees for 2010; due to this the board has decided to make a slight increase to our annual dues of 12.5% to $90 for the 2010 seasson. We will also increase to $100 the dues for new members or late renewals. 100% of the late renewal fee goes to the NCGA so please renew early to be sure to get your Blue Book mailed on time.

2010 Election
Ron Inouye has decided to retire from the Bayview Board; he will oversee this years's election as his last offical duty. If you would like to serve as Membership chairman or any of the other positions on the board please contact Ron Inouye or any other board member to get your name added to the ballot.
Ballots will be available via e-mail in early November. You can bring your ballots to Poppy Ridge, the awards party or mail them back with your 2010 renewal.
2010 Tournament Schedule
Kevin has started the process of selecting courses for 2010 if you have any favorites please send the suggestions. In the last two years we have had a small turnout for one of the tournaments in July, should we continue to schedule two events per month in July? Should we add some Sundays to the schedule? Let us know what you prefer!

Bayview Golf Club organizes tournaments and related golf activities around the San Francisco and Monterey Bay Areas for the recreational enjoyment of our membership. We schedule approximately 20 tournaments each year and hold two annual events, a
weekend golf get-away and an award banquet in which all attendees win prizes. We welcome golfers of all ages and handicaps.
|
Competition runs throughout the year, giving players a chance to win enough points for the title of:
2009 Bayview Points Cup Champion
The overall winner will be recognized at the year end awards banquet.
