Forecaddie
Before there was a BayviewGC.Com website, all of the information regarding tournaments, results and other related info was distributed in a newsletter called the "Forecaddie". Thanks to Joe Zukowski for his efforts publishing all those newsletters and providing his archive that spans 15 years from 1991 to 2005.

As I was reading through the archive, member hole-in-one's were spotlighted. These include the following:

From October, 1993
Hole in One! Congratulations to Jerry Ryckewaert who on September 26 recorded a hole-in-one on the 168 yard 2nd hole at Spring Valley. Jerry used a Callaway Heaven Wood to achieve his first career ace.

From May, 1995
Ace Maker! Congratulations to Steve Jedynak for recording a hole in one on the 17th at San Jose Muni. This was Steve's second life time ace, his first one coming on the 98yard 7th hole at Pajaro Valley.

From November, 1999
Congratulations To Don Cornellier for a hole-in-oneon the 190yard 16th hole at Santa Teresa Golf Course.

From February, 2001
Congratulations to Don Cornellier for his second ever hole-in-one and the first ever ace recorded at the new Club at Roddy Ranch in Antioch. During Thanksgiving weekend, Don aced the 166-yard 17th hole using a 4 metal. Unfortunately no one in Don’s group actually saw the ball go in. In fact they could not even see the green from the tee because of fog that limited visibility to 150 yards. The group in front told Don, that the ball had rolled into the hole. As a souvenir Roddy Ranch sent Don the flag, signed and dated, from the 17th hole.

From February 2004
In Memory - On January 4, a longtime club member and friend, Bob Hayden passed away. For the past several years, Bob split his time between his home in Cupertino and his condominum near Matzatlan. Although he battled medical problems over the past few years, his outlook was always positive and he was always more concerned with your welfare than his own. Bob joined the golf club in the 70’s when it was part of the Control Data employee recreational club. While a member of our club Bob server as Vice President in 1985 and was one of a handful of members to record a hole-in-one at one of our tournaments. On May 23, 1998 Bob aced the 3rd hole on the Chardonnay nine at Poppy Ridge. Any ace is special, but one of his more memorable golf moments came when he recorded a hole-in-one on the difficult par 3 18th hole at his home course at Pasatiempo. Speaking for all of us who knew him, Bob will be missed.
